About:
For our art portion, we decided to use an old goalie stick of my partner’s, and we painted it all black. After that, we put different symbols representing different things. The reason we painted it black is because the color black represents power. We put a red mouth guard on the stick to represent blood from fights. We put a blue #1 ribbon on to represent loyalty, players are loyal to the unwritten code of fighting. We put on orange boxing gloves to represent aggression and the punches thrown in fights. We put a green band-aid on to represent healing, safety, well being, this represents finding a way to stop the violence in the NHL, which some people don’t agree with fighting.
